THERMAL IMAGES
One of our customers called us to inquire about CLEAN-VOLTTM. The reason is because he has a power panel in his hog barn that has been under extreme heat for 10+ years. We went to his barn and took a thermal image of the panel. Here is what we saw.
As you can see this panel is very hot. You can see the white color on the pictures, those are the breakers for the exhaust fans. We decided to install CLEAN-VOLTTM to this panel to see how it would affect the heat. We installed a unit on the lower right hand side of the panel.
12 hours after CLEAN-VOLTTM was installed we took another picture. What we saw validated 19 years of customer feedback. You can see that the heat is starting to travel from the breakers onto the bus and down the bus to the breaker that the CLEAN-VOLTTM unit was installed onto.
60 hours after: You can see that the heat is still traveling down the bus to the breaker CLEAN-VOLTTM was installed on.
76 hours after: In this picture you can see that the breakers at the top are still hot. You will also see that the breakers just below those ones have cooled down significantly. Most of the heat that was traveling down the bus is now on the breaker that the CLEAN-VOLTTM unit was installed on.
100 hours after: As you can see by the colors in the picture there is a lot more blue and purple.
124 hours after: The panel is getting cooler and the breaker that the CLEAN-VOLTTMunit was installed on is now cooling down to its operational temperature.
156 hours after: As you can see this panel is now running significantly cooler than in the first picture. It is no longer hot to the touch. There is still red on the top breakers where the exhaust fan are but remember this panel has been under extreme heat for 10+ years so there is most likely some heat damage causing micro fractures leading to arching.
In conclusion CLEAN-VOLTTM was able to attract the excess heat on the panel and dissipate it. This system now runs much closer the median it was designed to and heat is no longer a concern.
